So a few of my loyal readers requested that I do an in-depth article on Erenor Lunafrosts. Here is that article.

Also, sorry for the hiatus that I took during the last two weeks. Had to finish up some real-life things in the week prior, but my schedule is back to normal now, and so is Omnom!

I’d like to remind everyone that there is an Omnom livestream today at 5:00 PM, which will discuss trade and preparing for 3.5. You can read more about trading here.

So then, let’s talk about Erenor Lunafrosts!

Crafting the Lunafrosts

If you don’t already know about Erenor gear, here is a very detailed article that I wrote a while back. Everything that you need to know about Erenor is in there.

Crafting the Lunafrosts will take quite a bit of uncommon items, the most noteworthy of which are Books of Auroria. In order to produce them, you will require 300 Labor and 70,000 Alchemy.

Below is a table that provides the list of items required to craft each version of Erenor Lunafrosts.

Lunafrost Effects

So what exactly do these Lunafrosts do?

There is an element of sets to Erenor gear. These set bonuses will be added to Erenor gear with a special Lunafrost crafted exclusively for this purpose. There will be 5 Erenor Lunafrosts: Flame, Earth, Gale, Wave and Life. Much like other crafted armors, they will grant 3-set, 4-set, and 7-set (Complete set) bonuses while equipped. These bonuses will be substantial for end-game players, and their effects will reflect those present in previous versions of crafted sets of armor.

One of these Lunafrosts is shown below.

So how exactly do they work? Once you craft your desired Lunafrost, you can enchant it on a piece of Erenor armor, which will then gain one of the single-item effects, as well as triggered set effects, when the condition is met. If you are wearing 3 pieces of Erenor armor enchanted by the same type of Erenor Lunafrosts, you will gain the 3-set bonus for that type of Lunafrost. The same goes for 4 and 7 pieces. That is how sets are determined with Erenor.

Below is a table that lists these modifiers, and what effects they give per the number of pieces equipped.

ModifierNumber Equipped (x-set)Additional effectsNumber
Erenor’s Moon Shadow: Flame3Focus506

7Melee Critical Damage Increase18.6%

7Increases Skill Damage4.1%
Erenor’s Moon Shadow: Life3Toughness452

7Decreases Cast Time4.1%

In addition to providing the stats listed above, they will also provide certain stats for whenever they are applied to an armor (No matter how many of the same set you are wearing). Flame provides +10 Melee Attack; Gale provides +10 Ranged Attack; Earth provides +80 Defense; Wave provides +10 Magic Attack; Life provides +10 Healing Power.

Hope everyone enjoyed this short article. More coming soon!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I’ll be sure to answer them.

Quill said that the item we will need to upgrade our successor skills is infact not the 2k honour item and is instead a new item they are calling Ancestral Warrior Medal.
I know this is unrelated to this thread but wanted to put on your newest to let as many see It and hope you see since this seems to contradict everything ive read so far.
Im wondering if its just an error from Trions internal notes or if there is infact a new item we will need, and if so, I wondered if you would know where its obtained..
    Thanks

It’s Trion’s version of the game, so they are correct. It is a new change in their version of the patch.

These medals are from the Honor shop or the Vocation shop, where they are sold for either 2,000 Honor or 4,000 Vocation points.

And? I don’t care about what Trion does. They’re going to vaguely describe everything, like they always do. I’m not about that. I will answer every single question, unlike them.

75% of their answers are about cash shop, lmao.

Would you get the benefits of 2, 3-set buffs if you decided to gem with 2 different types of gems?

These are used instead of lunafrosts right? So you have to sacrifice lunafrost slots to get set bonus..
If so then it’s worth using these new lunafrosts only in belt, guards and head for 3-set bonus, and use normal lunafrosts everywhere else.

    Hello Mark!

Are these lunafrosts able to be put on erenor accessories / weapons? If they do, would they count toward the 7 piece bonus?

    Thanks !
